Healthcare BLS for In-Facility/Prehospital Providers

This course focuses on students who give health care to patients in a variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. Anyone who needs to know how to do CPR in a healthcare setting can take this course. Rescuers who want to learn more about performing 1-or 2-rescuer CPR for adult, child, and infant victims can also take this course. AHA textbook is required for the class.
Heartsaver CPR/AED
(Cost $85.00 each), (AHA textbook $5.00)
This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant (optional) CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students’ learning of skills. AHA textbook is required for the class.
Heartsaver First Aid
(Cost $75.00 each), (AHA textbook $5.00)
This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first-aid emergencies. AHA textbook is required for the class.
Heartsaver First Aid w/CPR and AED
(Cost $105.00 each), (AHA textbook $5.00)
This is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first-aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED use. AHA textbook is required for the class.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Course
(Cost $40.00 each)
This is a classroom, video-based course. This class teaches employees how to effectively protect themselves from exposure to blood at the workplace. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens workplace training. (when paired with site-specific instruction)
Family and Friend CPR Course
(Cost $50.00 each)
This classroom, the video-based course teaches the lifesaving skills of CPR. This class focuses on “Hands-Only” CPR for adults. The child and infant sections of this course are optional sections of the course. This is a shorter CPR course and does not come with a 2-year certification. This is a great course for CPR awareness.
Basic CPR Course For Parents And Caregivers
(Cost $45.00 each)
This course teaches the lifesaving skills of CPR. This class focuses on CPR for infants and children. This course teaches how to do CPR on a non-responsive infant or child and how to incorporate compressions and breaths. This class also teaches how to relieve choking in a responsive infant or child. This is a shorter CPR course and does not come with a 2-year certification. This is a great course for CPR awareness for parents and caregivers.
Basic CPR for Everyone (Cost $40.00 each)
This class is a non-certification course that will teach individuals of all ages basic CPR techniques. By the end of the course, students will be aware of and assist with the following:
Hands-Only CPR for Adults Choking Adult Choking Child Choking Infant
Students will also learn how to be aware of scene safety along with identifying sudden cardiac arrest in a non-breathing individual.
Online Skills Check
This is for individuals who have completed online classes for one of the following:
Healthcare Provider BLS, Heartsaver CPR, and First Aid.
